So yesterday I’m posted in my room when I hear the doorbell ring. Gram opens the door and exclaims “
OMG it’s going to snow!” I roll my eyes and think, ‘
here she goes again, opening the door for randoms’. So then I hear a knock on my bedroom door! I screen visitors so I listened for voices. Then I hear, “
UGH Godma won’t open the door for me”!! Damnit man!! I did like a back flip off the bed to get to the door. It was my Goddaughter of course. *screams* I didn’t even know she was coming to town. Man was I geeked!!
I was so happy to see my baby. She’s gotten so big. She’s almost my height! It’s funny because usually when she comes to visit she stays under me, but yesterday she wasn’t even that into me. LOL. It’s cool though. Just seeing her made my heart so happy. Unfortunately my cousin had to get back home so they only stayed like
3 hours!!! Boo. :(

Keeps Gettin Better (A Decade of Hits) this weekend and I’m really
not convinced that it’s getting better. I’ve been a big fan of hers from the beginning and I probably always will be but I’m not loving the new songs on this album. Basically the album consists of 10 of her biggest singles/hits, 2 new songs, 2 remixed songs and 2 songs that she was featured on. All in all the album is pretty great. If you’re a fan you’ll love having all of your favorite songs on one album. But with that said, if you’re a fan there really isn’t any incentive to buy this album because you probably already own all of the songs. Eh.

It’s 3:30a and I can’t sleep. I have to be up at 6a but I have so much on my mind. Thursday afternoon my mom goes back to the cardiologist for her latest tests and things. I always get so nervous when she goes because I have no idea what he’s going to tell her. Hopefully it’s good news. She was making a lot of death jokes tonight and it made me so upset. I don’t think it’s funny at all. My mom along with my Goddaughter are the two people who make up my heart. I can’t even imagine life without either of them. I don’t think I’ll get much sleep until I know she’s OK. Well, at least not worse.
So yeah, that’s what I’m up to right now. I was supposed to have my website up May 1, but I don’t know. I’ve been going through so much lately that I haven’t been able to concentrate on a website. I do realize that my websites are an outlet for me so I’m going to get my personal site as well as my art site up this week. Hopefully. I’m also going to try to update here more often. I don’t even think anyone reads this thing anymore. At any rate I’m going to end this. I’ll update later. If you can, toss a prayer our way.

Carmen is the newest addition to my monkey family. She’s made by Aurora, she’s 15 inches and I paid 20$ for her. I love her. I originally thought she was bigger after I saw this picture, but she’s actually pretty small.

I may or may not have mentioned this before but I love parfait dessert. It’s the best. It’s basically a blend of JELL-O Gelatin and whipped cream. There are dozens of ways that you can make it, but I usually buy it ready made. I’m still getting used to my camera so the pics didn’t come out great. They don’t do the parfait any justice. If you get a chance to try it, TRY IT!!

This weekend I did a lot of spring cleaning and I’ve come to realize how much I’ve changed. I remember the last time I cleaned I refused to get rid of anything. I was so attached to my STUFF, even things that I hadn’t used in years. But I’m no longer holding on to things that serve me no purpose….
